I first truly fell in love with chicken wings in the US. Having crispy grilled wings served with blue cheese in sports bars is still a treat that I enjoy at times with my friends. This recipe was introduced to me by my Lebanese friend Charbel living in NY. I remember tasting it the first time; the sky opened, and I saw heaven. This simple, inexpensive bar food now gets served regularly in my home during cocktail hour before we sit for dinner.

Ingredients:
- 20 chicken wings
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 large cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1 ½ tablespoons sumac
- Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. It can also be grilled.
- In a large bowl, add olive oil, crushed garlic, sumac, lemon juice, and mix.
- Add chicken wings and rub with the sauce. Cover and leave in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
- Place the wings in a baking pan in a single layer.
- Pour over the marinade and roast for about 20 minutes.
- When the wings are ready, serve and enjoy!
