Ingredients:
- ¾ cup bulghur (grade 1)
- ½ cup water, plus an additional ¼ cup water for sprinkling during baking
- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon 7 Spice mix (or substitute cinnamon)
- 1 teaspoon allspice powder
- ½ teaspoon Aleppo pepper or hot paprika
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon dried mint
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the baking tray)


Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a bowl, combine all the spices and bulghur, mix well. Add the water, knead the mixture for 2 minutes, and let it sit for 10 minutes covered with a kitchen towel.
- Add the ground lamb to the bulghur mixture and knead it well.
- Divide the meat mixture into 18 small balls. Shape each ball like a hot dog and place them on a slightly greased baking tray.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then turn the meatballs. Sprinkle with water and bake for another 7 minutes to ensure all sides are evenly baked.
- Serve hot.
