Sourdough Toast with Seeds

There are some days when I love to start with a toast breakfast and a great coffee. I never use anything that says “fat free.” I remember in the 80s, everyone was crazed with a product called “I can’t believe it’s not butter.” Tasting it seemed like a bunch of chemicals together. I’d rather eat small portions of natural and pure ingredients like butter. I think it is a personal preference, but if your health allows, enjoy it in small portions. Since I am a za’atar junkie, I invite you to taste this rare indulgence of pure heaven.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of multi-grain sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons pure butter
  • 2 tablespoons za’atar

Instructions:

  1. Heat the pan, preferably a cast-iron tray or nonstick pan. Melt the butter and pour over za’atar. Put the bread over it, making sure both sides are covered. Toast until golden brown.
