Tequila Grapefruit Mocktail

As a Mediterranean, citric fruits of lemons, oranges and grapefruits are in every kitchen. They are used in cooking, baking, and of course in lemonades and cocktails. This wonderful addition can be used as a cocktail or a mocktail depending on what you are in the mood for. In Mediterranean countries, we often make mocktails as an afternoon offering to guests, in cafes, or at home just to quench the thirst. I love this mocktail, it is not sweet and the grapefruit juice is so delicious with fried mint.

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh Grapefruit juiced
  • 1 some sparkling water
  • 1 TBS dry mint
  • Few fresh mint leaves
  • Add vodka or tequilla (optional) for cocktail

Instructions:

  1. Choose a beautiful big glass, take a slice of grapefruit and run it through the
rim. Crush the dried mint to powder and dip the rim making sure it had dried
    mint all around the rim.
  2. Fill half way with ice, pour half the juice in the glass, add sparkling water of
choice. Garnish with fresh mint and a slice of Grapefruit.
