The Middle East is known for its savory popular breakfast called Ful Madames.
This variation is my way of serving it as a dip, making it a cousin of hummus. It is very
tasty and nutritious.

Ingredients:
- 2 cans of fava beans
- 2 cloves of garlic, mashed
- 6 tablespoons tahini
- 8 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling generously Center Garnish:
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 jalapeno, finely chopped
- ¼ cup parsley, chopped
- Juice of fresh lemon
- Salt to taste

Instructions:
- Rinse the fava beans with clear water and transfer them to a food processor.
- Add all the ingredients and blend briefly. Add 2 or 3 ice cubes until desired creaminess is achieved.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, drizzle a generous amount of olive oil, and serve with salad as garnish.
