Zaatar Butter Corn on the Cobb

This is a super simple corn recipe where East meets West. Gorgeous taste of good quality butter and complex taste of za’atar cooked in aluminum foil becomes heaven.

Ingredients:

  1. 3 Corn husk and silk removed
  2. 3 TBS good quality butter
  3. 3 TBS za’atar
  4. Some chunky sea salt optional when serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven to 450 F.
  2. Using room temperature butter (soft but not liquidy) mix the za’atar well
    into the butter.
  3. Cut three equal sizes of aluminum foil, large enough to wrap the corn and to
    keep the butter in it. Place corn in the middle of the foil and brush it with
    za’atar butter. Close the foil in all sides and repeat.
  4. Bring it to the oven and roast it for about 15-20 minutes depending on to
    your oven. Serve hot with salt optional.
